Born in Hennbont (town on the west coast of France) Philippe learned his culinary skills in Ecole Notre Dame de ST Meen Le Grand (cooking school). He has practiced all over France and Switzerland before coming to Canada where he worked on the East coast in Keltic Lodge or 3 seasons before in coming to Toronto to work in a French restaurant called Julien. Philippe has been the chef at Scaccia since its opening in 1987.
